Areas of clinical and research interest:

Suicide research and prevention: Training programs for GPs, evaluation of training, influencing media reporting on suicide, improving communication between patients and professional helpers, patients’ views of suicidal behaviour, suicide as goal-directed behaviour, the therapeutic relationship with the suicidal patient.

Interest in qualitative research methods

Diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), pharmacotherapy)
